3. Former Hokkaido Government Office - Sapporo (Sapporo Area)
The Former Hokkaido Government Office was completed in 1888. It is a building in the American Neo-Baroque style, utilizing many local Hokkaido materials, including bricks. There are very few outstanding Western-style buildings from the Meiji era in the country, and it has been designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. 22. Kamui Cape - Shakotan-gun (Otaru Area)
Kamui Cape protrudes into the sea of Shakotan blue. There is a walking path of about 20 minutes to the tip of the cape, allowing visitors to enjoy the majestic view of the Sea of Japan on both sides. 26. Sokuryozan Observatory - Muroran City (Niseko, Toya, Noboribetsu Area)
This is an observation spot that offers a panoramic view of Muroran City. Although Sokuryozan's elevation is only 199.6 meters and not very high, on clear days, you can see distant Mount Yotei, Mount Komagatake, and Esan Cape.
